Keeping up with technology, big data, and regulatory and tax changes, among other pressures, can be a heavy burden for many managers to bear alone. Indeed, maintaining systems in-house, and finding the talent to manage them, can be costly, and eat into a time and resources. So perhaps it should be of little surprise that outsourcing activity in the sector is on an upward trajectory, albeit a slow, steady one, as some managers seek to stay focused on their core business – attracting capital, investing and delivering returns to investors.
