Cerberus, Chatham reach new deal to buy Innkeepers

After ending their initial $1.12 billion deal to acquire 64 properties owned by the bankrupt hotelier, the New York-based private equity firm and Florida-based hotel REIT have reached a new tentative agreement to buy the business at a reduced price of $1 billion.
